About this Course

The Art Gallery of Peterborough’s PA Day programs offer a studio experience for young artists who are ready to take their skills to the next level. These single day sessions focus on developing strong foundational techniques and introducing more advanced methods in drawing, painting, sculpture, and printmaking. With guidance from expert art educators, participants will engage in meaningful creative exploration, build confidence in their abilities, and be supported as they develop their own artistic style and ideas. June – Stop-Motion Animation Basics Explore the fundamentals of stop-motion filmmaking through character design, simple set construction, and frame-by-frame animation techniques. Participants will learn how movement, timing, and storytelling work together to bring ideas to life, creating their own animated video clip.
