About this Course

This class will teach authentic Japanese philosophy and practice of Judo, the most practiced martial art in the world also called the Gentle Way. Participants will develop their physical confidence while cultivating self-awareness and respect for others. Judo’s rigorous nature makes it a sport that will grow your strength, endurance and mental toughness. There are many opportunities to grow and compete through this class and the teachings will make you feel safer and benefit your personal, work and social life. Judo uniforms are ordered as a group and can be purchased through Sensei Paul Teleki for $70. There’s usually judogi to borrow for newcomers.
