Learn to teach Swimming Lessons and Lifesaving Society Programs! Through classroom learning and in-water practice, the Swim & Lifesaving Instructor course will certify you to teach the Swim For Life Program, Canadian Swim Patrol, Bronze Awards, Basic & Emergency First Aid. Practice teaching is emphasized! Prerequisite: Minimum 15 years old (by the end of the course) and Bronze Cross (or NL). LSS Swim & Lifesaving Instructor Pack is a required text for this course. This package can be purchased at the Front Desk for $100 Volunteer shadow teaching hours at the PSWC swim program are mandatory for this course.
