Be a Ranger! Swimmers at this level develop better strokes over 75m swims. They also have a chance to tackle more lifesaving sport skills through a lifesaving medley, timed object support and rescue with a buoyant aid. First aid training continues with an emphasis on assessment of unconscious victims, treatment of victims in shock and obstructed airway procedures. There are also plenty of skill drills to develop a strong lifesaving foundation. The ratio for this level is 12 swimmers to 1 instructor. Prerequisite: Rookie Patrol; Ages 8 to 13 years.
